Clearminds was created to bridge the gap between traditional mental health care and culturally responsive healing. Recognizing that many individuals, particularly within Black and Brown communities, often struggle to find spaces where they feel seen, understood, and represented, the brand was built to offer something different. By combining evidence-based therapy, holistic coaching, leadership consulting, and practical wellness tools, Clearminds creates an ecosystem where emotional well-being is deeply connected to culture, purpose, and personal growth.

The Challenge
Clearminds had evolved into a multi-dimensional wellness brand, but its existing visual identity no longer reflected the depth of its mission or the breadth of its services. The previous identity lacked visual clarity, scalability, and a cohesive system capable of representing therapy, consulting, and wellness products under one unified brand.

The Strategy
The design process began by understanding the cultural foundation, long-term vision, and emotional purpose behind Clearminds. Rather than simply refreshing the logo, the focus was on building a flexible identity system rooted in African symbolism, refined typography, and a timeless visual language that could support both the parent brand and its growing ecosystem of sub-brands.

The new identity introduces a culturally grounded brand system centered around the Mekyea Wo Adinkra symbol, paired with a modern serif wordmark and a balanced color palette. Every element was intentionally designed to improve recognition, scalability, accessibility, and consistency while creating a visual identity that reflects healing, clarity, trust, and transformation across every brand touchpoint.
